Hey Richard,
That is great. I have been wanting to market screensavers for sometime, but haven't had the time to figure out the process. I hope it sells well!
Ron
Thanks Ron, I used Pro Show Gold slide show software. It's very easy to use and output files. For slide shows though there's sometimes a compatibility issue with different DVD players and computer video drivers though so you have to experiment with the different output settings.
The photo on the disc is perfect for that title by the way.
I have Pictures to exe, and it also makes making screen savers easy. Did you do anything to copy protect it?
The reason I was thinking of doing some is that my lightboxphoto software on my website is setup for automatic downloads with credit card payment - so it would be kind of slick. I worry about fielding a bunch of computer calls for the installation. Does your disc include installation software?
Thanks,
Ron
Thanks. Pro Show Gold has copy protection options such as limited usage by duration or # of uses, password protection, and you can't disemble the files to get the pictures as far as I know because it's a single executable file.
On a PC, you can just copy the file to your computer somewhere then click the right mouse button and select "install" then it should go straight to your Windows screen savers. I'll probably make a pdf w/ those instructions to include on the disc.
I'll send it to you if you want to be my product tester.
I was more then happy to be a tester! The photos are great, the music a nice compliment and the instalation process was a breeze.
Ron
Thanks Ron, you are a great product tester! Thanks for the testimonial as well.
Wow Richard! You are amazing! What are you going to come up with next?
Thanks Sherri. I'd like to come up with Virtual Reality photography, but for the time being I hope screensavers will suffice. :-)
Hope you sell a million of them Richard.
