Huntington Beach Kiteboarding

There weren't that many people at the beach because it was cold. The cool part though was there were quite a few kiteboarders out there riding the waves. I had never seen this sport before so I wasn't sure how to anticipate the moves. I only took a few pictures but this one was my favorite.

Great shot Richard, you have captured the action in this well, looks like something I would like to have done about twenty years ago :)
It's never too late Bernie. :-) From looking at them, it looks really strenuous though and requires a lot of upper body stamina.
Good shot, Richard. Did you do it with a tele from the beach, or were you on a boat?
I'd put my money on 'tele from beach' - as it somehow reminds me of this shot I did a while ago.
You guessed right Mark. I was standing at the tide line, my shoes are still dirty in fact. The guy was surfing pretty close to the shore to "model" for a few photos.
